The Columbia 3800 horizontal sliding window is thermally broken (optional non-thermal version is also available), has a 4” overall frame depth and is available in multiple configurations and mates to all the other 3000 series window products. . The 3800 carries an HC-60 Rating up to a tested size of  6’ (72”)W  X 4’ (48”)T and  has a full receptor system and structural mullions available as well. The 3800 slider as well as the entire 3000 series can be used in hurricane impact zones and the entire 3000 series has just received updated NFRC testing and approval. We now have updated NFRC information concerning our 3000 and 2000 series window lines.  We have just completed updated thermal and NFRC testing on our 3000 and 2000 window series. The 3000 series has a 4” overall frame depth and consists of our 3100 Fixed, 3500 Double Hung, 3550 Single Hung, and 3800 Horizontal Slider.  The 2000 series has a 2 ¼” overall frame depth and consist of the 2000 Fixed,  2050 Project Out and Project In windows and the 2060 Casement window and.  Both the 3000 series and 2000 series are also tested and approved for use in hurricane impact zones. Exciting news concerning our 3100 fixed and 2000 fixed windows. We have just completed updated impact testing and can now offer both as fixed windows  in a single size up to  5′ (60”) wide and 8’3″ (99”)tall and both systems carry  a  rating of AW90. The 3100 fixed window has a 4” overall frame depth, while the 2000 fixed window has a 2 ¼” overall frame depth.
